Elizabeth

Dental Assistant

I graduated from the University of Washington in 2017 with a Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance. In addition to the music classes, I also took pre-dental science courses with the goal of applying to dental school, which I am pursuing now.

Upon graduating, I knew I wanted to work in dentistry and experience “a day in the life” of a dental professional. I came to join Phil’s office after my best friend, who has been a patient of Dr. Phil’s since childhood, happened to mention me in one of her appointments. After hearing about my desire to pursue dentistry as a career, Dr. Phil found a role for me as a dental assistant in his office in 2018.

During my first week of work, I could easily tell Dr. Phil and his team were amazingly friendly, positive, and compassionate people. I love how Dr. Phil’s practice is centralized around his patients; every patient that walks in is like family. It doesn’t take long to learn that Phil and his team genuinely care about creating personal connections with every patient and want everyone to have the most positive experience possible.

I am grateful that Dr. Phil is so driven and willing to share his knowledge and experiences with me to help me grow as a dental professional. I couldn’t have asked for a more inspirational mentor to have on my dental journey and I hope to one-day follow in his footsteps.

On the weekends, you’ll either find me studying at a local café in Redmond or sweating at a cycling studio. I also love playing chamber music with my friends and taking camping and road trips with my family exploring the PNW.
