Jocelyn
Dental Assistant
I have been a patient at Dr. Phil’s my whole life. I was three years old at my first visit! My whole family calls this office home as well and has my entire life. All my childhood visits to this office were positive and I believe this is where my interest in becoming a dental assistant grew from. I attended dental assisting school after high school and then completed over 100 hours in an internship program at Dr. Phil’s office. My passion for being in health care and dentistry continues to grow. I love the fact that our office emphasizes continuing education so much. It has been great fun and exciting to attend the annual Washington State Dental convention, go to Continuing Dental Education classes with the staff, and partake in all of the Lunch and Learn sessions at our office. My particular interests within the office has been developing my skills for Invisalign Orthodontic treatment, Implant dentistry, and treatment in cosmetic dentistry.
I’ve really enjoyed getting to know the patients in our practice and seeing what “Family” practice means to Dr. Phil and his staff. They really genuinely love their patients and see them as family to them. And I feel like I am now part of the family that our office staff is to one another as well.
On a personal side, I love to be with my family, dog, and cat….and not necessarily in that order! I am continuing my education to get my college degree and may look at becoming a hygienist in the future.
